Back Again

Coming back to my blog after an extended brake is an interesting experience.

I am currently unemployed and with this economy I worry about getting something; I am at three weeks. Even looking for low-paying jobs as turned up nothing.

The good thing is I have time to study for my teaching certification; plus I am learning to become a Pharmacy Tech. But, each of those are months away.

The best, is my grandson!!!

As all grandfathers say: he is the best; but he is. He is learning four languages (Chinese, English, Spanish, and ASL - American Sign Languge). Even though he is not even two yet, he is doing very well with all four. Of course, he is very smart and good looking. My poem...
A Product of Nature

Coming upon a beautiful flower
Blooming

Soft wonderment beams into the valley meadow
Growing

Wonderful conversation flows with the creek
Learning

A diversity of personal ecology
Living

A young boy growing, loving his environment

The Future!!!

On January 17, 2007 my daughter called and let me listen to a heartbeat over the phone. The heartbeat was of my upcoming grandbaby. One cannot believe how exciting that was, unless you have been there.

WOW! Life can have wonderful events; and those are what we need to focus on.

Time versus Change

Because man invented time to measure change, we learn over our lives that time moves differently as changes occur. Sometimes time seems to move quickly and at other periods it drags. But, one cannot concentrate on time – for it is not important. The changes occurring in your life are important. Learn to accept the changes; good or bad and deal with them.

When something wonderful happens in your life, even if you think it’s happening too fast, do not analyze it. Just accept the joy for what it is; as it is happening. View the change, not the timeline. Do not try and predict the future; live for now. In other words: enjoy your life right now!
